The Angora Highlands Chapter became the 85th chapter of the Nevada Fire Safe Council on November 15th 2007.  A grant to assist chapter members with hazardous fuels reduction to achieve defensible space recommendations has been secured through the Tahoe Resource Conservation District. Under this grant, chapter members are asked to pay for 60% of actual costs and grant funds pay for 40%.
