The Carnellian Woods community joined the Fire Safe Council as the  77th chaper on August 23, 2007.  Beginning on May 1, Members of this chapter are eligible to receive a rebate of up to $1000 in 2008 for defensible space work prescribed by the North Tahoe Fire Protection District.  For more information, contact the chapter leader or project coordinator listed above.
