The Deeth/Starr Valley Chapter was officially affiliated as the 90th chapter of the Nevada Fire Safe Council on April 12, 2008. The chapter encompasses the ranching community of Deeth and Starr Valley south of Interstate 80 between Elko and Wells. For a map of the chapter, click here: Deeth - Starr Valley Chapter Map.
With assistance of the Nevada Fire Safe Council, the chapter hopes to raise community awareness, implement recommended fuel breaks in the area and promote appropriate defensible sapce.
