The Foothill chapter is the 79th chapter of the Nevada Fire Safe Council. The Chapter is located along the North boundary of State Route 757 to the intersection of 206 (foothill Road). This chapter includes both sides of S.R. 206 south to S.R. 207 and continues south on both sides of 206 to 1/2 mile south of Sheridan. The chapter will include Sheridan Acres and Autumn Hills Subdivisions. As a chapter they look to accomplish community wide fuels reduction; install fully operational and reliable fire hydrants in Sheridan and other subdivisions; and develop a community biomass program.
