The Logan Creek chapter is located in Douglas County along Highway 5o in Tahoe. Established as the 40th chapter in November of 2004 the chapter has been active and successful.
With a grant from the Nevada Division of Forestry in 2007, nine properties were treated.
Residents of Logan Creek area are also eligible for a rebate of up to $1000 for defensible space implementation. Click here for more information about the 5-step rebate process.
Funding from the 2005 State of Nevada appropriation allowed the chapter to complete a fuel reduction project were 52 tons of fuels were removed on six acres. This included 111 small and large diameter trees.
