The North Mandan chapter became the 89th community to affiliate with the Nevada Fire Safe Council on April 12, 2008. The chapter seeks to educate the community regarding the importance of creating defensible space, mitigate risks and reduce hazardous fuels throughout the area and engage in outreach efforts to build relationships between fire and public safety professions.
