The Tahoe Paradise Chapter of the Nevada Fire Safe Council is located in North Upper Truckee from Mt. Rainier to Hwy 50. The Paradise Chapter was officially recognized on May 22nd and became the 93rd chapter of the Nevada Fire Safe Council.
In the Spring of 2008 the chapter plans to educate local homeowners about the fire threat in their community and encourage chapter members to create defensible space around their homes.
