To comply with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) regulations related to non-profit organizations receiving federal grant funds and to insure that our vendors provide competitive rates, the Nevada Fire Safe Council complies a qualified vendor list each January and July. To be considered a qualified vendor, companies are asked to fill out simple forms in their area of service or expertise. Nevada Fire Safe Council staff and the Board of Directors will review all forms submitted and compile the approved vendor list for the applicable six month period. Qualified vendors previously approved will remain on the list at rates previously provided unless new forms are submitted. Prior to beginning any project, vendors will be given the opportunity to review the work site and accept or reject a purchase order. PLEASE NOTE: Submittal of Nevada Fire Safe Council bid forms does not imply or guarantee that a company will be accepted as a qualified vendor or enter into a work contract with our organization.
For current and potential Fire Safe Council vendors: New and updated price quotations are now being solicited. Forms are due to the Carson City office at 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2008. Click below for more information.
